Make It:


  1. In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium high heat.
  2. On a flat surface, pound chicken breast into 1 inch of thickness.
  3. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. In a small bowl add egg and a teaspoon of water.
  4. Mix well with a fork and pour over chicken. In a large ziplock bag, add flour.
  5. Add chicken to flour and shake bag, ensuring that chicken pieces are evenly covered.
  6. Add chicken gently to hot oil.
  7. You will need to cook in batches. Don’t over crowd pan.
  8. Cook chicken cutlets for 3 minutes per side.
  9. Remove and drain on a paper towel lined sheet pan.
  10. To make sauce, in a medium bowl, add paprika, hot sauce, brown sugar.
  11. Mix well.
  12. Add 1 cup of hot frying oil.
  13. Mix well.
  14. Brush each cutlet liberally with sauce.
  15. Preheat waffle iron.
  16. In a large bowl, mix together the dry ingredients; 2 cups flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  17. In another bowl, add the wet ingredients; melted butter, milk, vanilla extract and stir well.
  18. Separate your eggs and add the yolks to milk and vanilla mixture.
  19. Place egg whites into another bowl and mix until soft peaks form.
  20. Add your wet mixture to your dry mixture.
  21. Mix together with a whisk.
  22. Next, gently add the whipped egg whites to the mixture.
  23. Gently fold in the egg whites incorporating them into the mixture without mixing the fluffiness out of it.
  24. Spray your waffle maker with non stick spray. Cook waffles until golden brown and cooked to your likeness.
  25. To assemble sandwiches, divide waffles and place two pies of cooked chicken in between.
  26. Drizzle the top with maple syrup or honey and enjoy.
